You'll end up with a lot of calves that look like this. Not sure how badly theyd beat them up at salebarn today but they didn't seem to like them 20 years ago too well according to my grandpa
My friend the picture you posted was of the Swiss Simmental genetics, not the Flecks. These were popular in the 70's and 80's until they started importing Austrian and genetics which gave the dark hides, and more muscle to the animals. |
