Eastern NE KS | I had one for 4 calves, she had a few without vaginal prolapse first. I mated her with a heifer bull for #3. That went well w/I prolapse so I did it again. On her bext calf the prolapse failed to slide back into place even after she calves. We slipped it in and sewed her up. 2-3 weeks later we removed the stiches, later weaned the calf and sold the cow.
I have daughters in the herd, so far no prolapses.
