Eastern NE KS | They have eaten what they like off the land. Feeding 35# dm grass hay and 2.5# corn gluten feed per day. I feed gluten M-W-F. You can see the bale processor windrow beyond the string of cows.
If we get a rain and more warm weather, the cows will start grazing again. I'd rather it stay cool 40* days and 20* nights and dry. I got my first calf today. If things green up, cows get picky on the hay.
