Holland, Indiana (SW IN) | Thought I better add the plan SOMETIMES works almost perfect
Sometimes mother nature throws in a kink
We CC most every acre
IF it doesn't sound like rain for a few days we'll plant in the mud both SB and corn -- have a 24 row 30" planter
either NT or VT tool one pass --don't think we're giving up yield
We harvest both soybeans and corn next day after a rain
Corn tends to head shell unless we drive slow and slow the head down ---but it works
Soybeans tighten the rotor till it's almost rubbing and speed it up--sometimes only run 2 1/2 MPH with a 40' draper
covering the front 1/3 of the concave --plate under concave ---cuts down on unopened pods
