In 2012 we planted corn and soybeans the end of March, it was so nice had to do a little. Let’s just say got that off the bucket list, won’t plant in March again. Finished all planting by April 20, other than one field that received a lot of ditching. Planted corn in it May 10, it was easily our best. You are correct, if the planters roll early it will drive the corn market down. Talk of large acres and great yields will be the talk. But in 2012 national yield was obviously poor.
