I use lard. 2c. Flour, 2/3 c chilled lard, 2T. Butter, 1 t. Salt, 4T. Cold water. Cut lard into flour and salt, cut in butter, stir in 4 T. Cold water or enough to make dough stick together. The less you work it, the flakier it will be. Sometimes it works good for me, sometimes not so good!
