Alberta
It is a style of Simmental that has roots to the meat production vs dairy milk production. Simmentals are used as milk cows in Switzerland are considered a dual purpose breed. Todays Fleckveigh tend to be darker hided with eye pigment though like any Simmental, can be any color with a lot of white like a Holstein. I believe Flecks originate from German and Austrian animals.
