I've always thought that my heifers are my best genetics. I had a great deal of difficulty selling or processing heifers. This actually got me in trouble a few years ago when the math got away from me and I went from about 30 to about 60 head in one calving season. Too many for my operation.

I would agree with above, sell all of the steers and maybe a few of the heifers. Keep the heifers from your best cows.
