indiana | I was at Purdue in the middle 80’s. He came and talked in one of our classes. If he didn’t have such giant aspirations he could’ve made it big. I think he was farming a couple thousand acres shortly after graduating from Purdue. But somewhere along the line he wanted to own 10,000 acres , and decided he would need to be farming 20,000 acres to make it work. Like many things it works until it doesn’t. Leverage is your friend until it isn’t. Paper net worth is no substitute for actual net worth. | |
