Not sure what you have for past in the USA, but in Canada we have 2 varities of paste. One I believe is Naylors , which is red and comes in a glass bottle, which I don't really like as I get a lot of calves that have nubs or 1 horn, but the same happens with an iron. The other paste we have is white or bluish and it comes in a plastic bottle made by Dominion Vet. If done properly and the paste has not crystalized, which it tends to do, it is 100 percent on younger calves. I have had years where I have done 250 calves and not a single calf with horns when I use Dominion paste.
