swMN | Last fall my PSA went from a steady 4 for 15 years to 6.5 in September to 8.5 in October ,had to pee all the time, my doctor is retiring shortly so he handed me off to a young doctorate of nursing lady, let me me tell you if you've never had a full prostate exam, dont get a young lady nurse, she suggested flomax right off the bat and a MRI, had that in November, got the results next day on my chart, 4mm lesion , suspect cancer, the clinic didnt get back to me for 3 weeks so I finally called, they thought they had referred me to a urology specialist in Sioux Falls, they didn't, so a month later I got in to the urology clinic, had the biopsy same day, took 16 samples instead of usual 12, 75% were Gleason score 6, no big deal, 25% were 7, that got his attention, consultation a week later, only thing he said was we're gonna take your prostate out, I said no your not, I still use mine, not as often anymore, but I still use it. So i suggested Ivermectin and Fenbendazol, he hadn't heard of Fenbendazol for cancer but one of his highest regarded urologists is a proponent of Ivermectin, so i started once a week on Ivermectin and 6 days a week Fenbendazol, I said give me 6 months we'll retest, and he agreed, hoping for another MRI, and not a biopsy, I'll let you know in August. Might get a PSA test in 3 months just to see if it's doing anything. | |
