Alberta | All depends on bulls and gestation times. I use a 285 day gestation, seen them 275 and seen them 290. One year we used a RA bull on simmi heifers. 10 percent done before we were supposed to start. This year, all simmi bulls and have sporadically had 3 calves in 2 weeks before our start date tomorrow. Older cows, unless they are the twinners, always come 3 or 4 days after heifers really get going also. Seem to get twins a week or 2 early.
