East Central SD | I've followed some of the discussion here in the past and I have a comment and question.
In the past year my psa test was climbing - 3.2 to 3.8 to over 6 in Nov. Had biopsy and mri. Biopsy didn't find any cancer and mri found a small spot but not enough to say it could be cancer.
So I tried ivermectrin in the past month. Used the horse paste and used a 200 lb dose once a week for 3 weeks. Just had my annual physical and psa was 3.6.
So anecdotally it may be helping. Don't know where to go from here. I didn't mention it to either my regular doctor or my urologist as I'm certain they would tell me I'm crazy.
Curious what some of you think about the dosage? If looking at Dr. Makis' info I think he is using at least 100 mg per day. If my math is correct that's about what I'm taking once a week.
Certainly don't want to take too much but if it is helping I want to continue a little longer.
Appreciate any thoughts and advice.
