East of Broken Bow
I would agree with about a 25% increase, largely due to the cows not trampling the grass as it is growing, and stunting it. With rotation, they graze part of it hard, but the part they are shut out of gets complete rest.
Some people have a schedule where they move cows after so many days no matter what, but I have found it works really well to move cows to new pasture right after a nice rain anytime they have the piece they are on 3/4 or more utilized (by this I mean are 3/4 of the way to being moved regardless). Getting the cows to new grass right after the rain kind of tenderizes any older dry grass in the pasture, making the cows more content in there, and getting the cows off the grazed area after the rain seemes to help the regrowth come back faster and thicker.
