Do you get ice storms? An inch or 2 of freezing rain is different than snow. I have wondered if a big hail storm wouldn’t just wreck a solar farm. I’m not sure how tough the panels are, I haven’t been close to one.
Read my post above with regards to icing. Icing had nothing to do with the turbines in that event losing power generation.
