Nope the executors should retain legal counsel and not relinquish control. There was a reason the deceased wrote the will that way. They knew what that person would do. Only other words of advice are to hire a lawyer than is known as a "bulldog" in cases like this. Been there done that, way cheaper to use the "bulldog" first punch. Trust me there is all levels of attorneys, you want the best right out the gate. Here is a pic of the Mack Bulldog hat I have waiting to hand deliver to an attorney we have used recently.
