I don't know about blue silos, but some sealed units have a fitting next to the bottom access hatch to connect the output hose ftom a CO2 regulator. Fill the silo then open the valve as temperatures drop at night. Set the regulator to about five pounds. Much faster and the tank will likely ice up. I've used it and it does help. Supposedly you can get the same results from throwing 50 to 100 pounds of dry ice in before sealing the top hatch.
