Recall my father buying a new 1480 in the 80s and it was a huge price increase over what a combine was priced at a decade before. Until we fix the root cause of currency devaluation, or the technology of farming is flipped on its head overnight, we're stuck on this path.
I get your point and completely agree……but, if ever in the history of combines a huge price increase was justified, it was the jump from the ‘15 series to the 14xx axial flows. |
