SE USA | Go to an outfitter and rent some. Then decide what you like and dislike while on the water. A lot of difference on pond/lake vs fast current white water. I live in town less than 1/4 mile to lake. All neighbors have except us. It's seems to be a status symbol here. Basically purchase use maybe once a year if that. Been here 10 years and don't need I reckon. 2 outfits rent them and take to lake and pick up within 1/3 mile, save your $$ rent. Just a thought about what I see where I live. | |
