Central Coast, California | I am using nofence. I put the collars on right before Christmas. I am happy with it so far. I am in country that I was sure would not get cell reception to them except on a few ridge tops but it manages to get them almost everywhere.
It was not cheap but my hand was forced by a fire that was going to require building 4+ miles of new fence in really rugged country. The land owner and I could not come to an agreement on who would pay what.
The ranch only runs 40 cows on 1800 acres so it was probably too many base stations for a brand that requires them.
I do like halters collar better and talking with the guys running those they do the best job of managing escapees.
