NRCS has a prescribed grazing program you can apply for. I was barely dipping my toe in the water a year ago when I first started down this path. While researching, I ran into many things a "cheap" guy like me wasn't liking..........but applied anyway. Even if you get approved............you have a little while to decide if you want to proceed or not. At best it was looking like "maybe" it'd work with the cost share money. But not even remotely on my own. So I guess long story short............until approved, I just haven't taken it any further. Sorry if that doesn't help much.
