NC South Dakota | Might be a "here" thing but the bean basis improvement since agp came online here is nothing less than incredible. We were being serious screwed over by the coop system, I now refuse to sell grain to any of them crooks.
I am no expert just going on what I have personally witnessed.
But crushing soys improves the value of beans and I don't think we have "excess" crush capacity, at least no more than extra soybean supply. Im saying if u want more for your grain, we need more crush capacity, otherwise we're just competing with everyone else.
Sell "feed" and oil instead of beans. Higher value products are easier justify paying more freight for the end user. Its alot easier paying freight on gold bars vs rubber dog ****.
