Hi Tim, I always remove all net wrap before I feed a bale. In this weather I drop the bale once or twice to loosen the wrap from ice and snow. Hate to use plastic but tried sisal twine and it just didn't hold up on bales stored outside. 

Congrats on the twins!! Do you try to leave both on the cow or bottle feed one or...

I've had only a couple sets of twins over the years. Cow usually picks one and ignores the other leading to a bottle calf. I'm not one for bottle feeding a couple times a day and never had a lost calf cow to put it on.
