xenia ohio | I’ll admit my favorite part so far was the Japanese pair skaters. Favorites to win but during a lift someone’s elbow gave way too soon and it looked like he was wrestling a sack of potatoes off his shoulders. As they set waiting for the score, he sat head bent down and she kept leaning over trying to look up at his face to see if he was ok.
It was very touching. They dropped to 5 place.
Next night they skated in the finals. You’d think they would shy away from the lifts but I swear they added more. They were perfect and won the gold. | |
