Hello

I have had visa trouble here in Norway, so I have to move back to the US.

I’m hoping my next job and job location has long-term potential, and that my next employer can utilize my broad skill set.

Before moving to Norway, I worked full-time for ten years on a 3200 acre family farm for my father and uncle as the sixth generation. There, we produce corn, soybean, and wheat. In my long-standing tenure with the family business, I have accrued more than 15,000 hours of work experience in the agricultural, mechanical, and construction fields.

My first job overseas was a mixed crop farm just North of the town of Steinkjer. There, we produced a wide variety of crops. Barley, oats, wheat, peas, potatoes, carrots, cabbage, cauliflower, and broccoli in field, with tomatoes, cucumber, and lettuce greens in greenhouses.

My most recent job is on another mixed operation on the island of Jeløy to the far South, where I am now. It includes cows, horses, hay, and wine grape production.

Experience:
• Preventative and immediate maintenance on various light to heavy duty machinery. Repairs and rebuilds to machines when necessary
• Extensive experience with operating open station tractors, articulating tractors, quadtracs, excavators, backhoes, semi-trucks, and dozers
• Involved in all aspects of planting, tillage, and harvest. John Deere, CNH, Kinze, and Great Plains are the primary equipment brands used on the family farm
• Use of GPS guidance systems with RTK, WAAS, row shutoffs, hydraulic down pressure, etc, with Ag Leader and Precision Planting products
• Various construction and custom fabrication projects
• Truck driving, hauling corn, soybean, and wheat in 34 ft hopper bottom trailers
• Operating and maintaining irrigation pumps and pivots
• Repairing field drainage tile

As well as all the other bits that come with life on a farm. Aside from full management, writing the big checks, and spraying, I was doing everything else. And I have a higher education in Crop Production.

The main states I've been trying for are Colorado and Florida, but I'm open to options. If you can't use my experience, please pass the message on. I fly in to Chicago March 12th.

Thanks
