| We rent our pasture out, but over the years the fences were not maintained very well, and when the current renter quit, it was up to me to go in and tear out several years of cedar tree growth and replace fences. But we have a stretch along a creek that is always a problem, flooding takes out whole sections of fence. A virtual fence would be really nice along the creek, not a creek crossing but we do have creek crossing fences also. But it is a perimeter fence, and it seems like maybe a conventional fence or a couple electrified strands of barbed wire may be needed. The problem is that every time the creek floods some of the fence along the creek will simply be gone. If a virtual fence would work along the creek, it sure might save a lot of time and potential expense. | |
