I am not 100% sure, but I believe in Canada, if they are black hided, they are sold as CAB. Its a marketing scheme, albeit a very good one. Kudos to the Angus association.
They still need to grade to specs. Black hide does not garauntee it meats CAB. Especially seeing how every breed under the sun has made their cattle black by crossing with Angus.
