We spend winters where there are lots and lots of e-bikes. The neighbors down the street lost their house last spring when the e-bikes charging in their attached garage shorted out and started the house on fire. The fire was confined to the garage and one end of the house, but it all had to be rebuilt and redone. This isn't the only instance in this area that this has happened. I'd suggest researching a charging space for your e-bike that isn't attached to your home.
