Northern Central Iowa | 15 years ago we had an Impala that sometimes wouldn't start.
Wait 10 minutes, and it would start fine.
Had a mechanic ask if the key had a bunch of extra stuff hanging on it, which it did, and was told to remove the extra stuff. Thought the switch was getting loose and the weight was activating the security system preventing a start until it resets after 10 minutes.
Removed the extra stuff from the keychain and it rarely ever happened again. | |
