If you change the fuel pump, just pull back the carpet and cut where you think you need to. Either weld it back or screw a larger piece back in place.
Suburban 20 years ago had fuel supply shortage could not maintain pressure at the injection pump
cut hole in the back to get to the gauge unit checked no blockage
three times we had it out !!!
the fuel filter housing under the hood was plugged ,yes wild issue
but sure glad we did not pull the tank three times !!!!!!!!!!!! |
