East of Broken Bow | My dad has a Dodge minivan, and the center seats are captain's chairs that swivel. He slides open the big door, backs into the seat, shuts the door, and swivels forward. The seat can be positioned right by the door so all he has to do is basically back into it and sit down, then lift his feet up and in. I feel like a chauffeur driving around with him sitting behind me, but he's 88 and can still get in and out really well. The big, wide opening door and low floor height make it the easiest thing for him to get in and out of. Even the front seats are easier to get in and out of than most. | |
