She stepped on her afterbirth and ripped it before all cotyledons had released. She is passing a retained portion. Since there is little heft to the mass, it failed to slough normally.
I no longer work on regular retained afterbirth and it is released and gone in 3-5 days. Perhaps you will see the same here. If you normally help your cows in this regard, I recommend the same here.
