Danoah,but do you buy new ones that approach 150K$ ?..I just cannot fathom that but like you say ,,it is all in your choosing.I actually think they are rather stupid looking on city streets.Out in the wild or on the farms not too bad.Is it not the same engine and trans and rears (close) of a standard f250?I at least know all the other ancillary items are just common truck parts.Sort of to me like the GMC dump of a Hummer that was all just pickup drive train.I think the cost of operation then was close to 1$ per mile.One question on the raptor ,,How are they in the snow with the lift and wide tires?
Heck no! Both used. One I have now is a 2017 bought it in 2022 with 42,000 miles. I think other than the suspension, off road package and a few extra ride modes, Baja and rock climb mode it would be just another heavy duty 150. I believe the interior trim and seats might be unique. There are other raptor owners on here that likely know more than me.
We’ve had more snow than usual this winter. I get along fine with it. |
