South Central NE | My wife has a brother who was run over by a truck in the late '50s. He is 73 now. Is about 5'9" and has huge mobility issues. We take care of him on weekends a lot. We just traded a '16 Explorer for a '22 Explorer. Both have worked great for him to slide in and out of. They have a grab handle on top for him to steady himself and he can slide flat across. Anything bigger is far too big and a car is very hard for him as well. I would think if she would look at an Escape or an Edge they might be more the correct size for her given that she is smaller. I'm sure there are other vehicles available but these are our experience. | |
