I spray my boots and my pants from the knee down. Usually hang them outside, spray them, let them dry, then wear them. I have sprayed while wearing, no big deal. I’ve rolled a pant cuff up to keep it dry, and upon unrolling, found 4-5 dead ticks. It works. One treatment will last a couple washes.
