95 miles NW of Quitaque, TX | The Yamato was also expensive to drive. At some point in time during WW II the submarines and other methods were sinking all kinds of ships. I would think a fuel ship would blow up nicely. Also war ships started using the cheapest and least refined fuel sources available while the ships could use that fuel but that caused all kinds of problems and more maintenance.
