North Central Kansas | We are using Halter this year. Three towers will catch all of our pastures and stalk fields. The biggest issue is having water sources spaced out. We may drill a couple more wells and rehab some old dug wells with solar set ups to spread the them out.
This will be on 270 cows. No collars on the calves or bulls. We have two full sections and a half section along with a couple of 80 acre pastures we graze that this will allow us to rotational graze. The goal is to be able to increase our stocking rates in the future. We are really interested in seeing how it works on grazing our corn stalks more efficiently. | |
