Central Minnesota | Has anybody used fence line headlocks used on dairy farms for beef cows? My herd is very tame for beef cows but wondering if they are sturdy enough. Also, will the headlocks accommodate different sizes of animals? I typically run breeding age heifers with my cow herd so they weigh anywhere from 700 pounds to probably 1350. I do timed AI and would like to do embryo transfer headlocks seem more efficient than running them in my portable corral. Advice (brands etc.) is appreciated. TIA. | |
