I don't know what that means for this style pump, so that's a wildcard. Typically, you'll see sticking from sitting, unless there's gross contamination that gets by the filters. Removing the cover will show how the inside of the pump looks, clean or gunked up. If this is used regularly, then there's other things to suspect.
There are no bleeders, the return valve is on top of the pump and should bleed the air automatically. You can remove that whole 90 fitting so you can stick a wire right down in the pump, then it should pump fuel out there when you turn the engine. If not, you can pull the end off to inspect the vane pump to see if it's turning, might be control valve stuff in the end, can't remember. |
