I don't know what you use to view emails but most of them have the ability to filter emails directly into the junk or spam folder. In Thunderbird I have multiple filters, some based on the address, some based on the subject and some based on the body. Took very little effort or time to set up but now I don't see those and after 30 days in the trash they're automatically gone. As to it being a "first world problem" that's where I live. So far we aren't in a 3rd world outhouse hole and I prefer to keep it that way. As far as I'm concerned almost all our problems are first world because that's where we live, we have auto's rather and donkey's, we have water running from a faucet rather than a stream, we watch dancers on television not around a fire.
