I have a Brother all in one also. Connected wireless. When I got it I had W10 and connecting was a piece of cake. I got a new W11 about a year ago and like you had trouble getting it to scan but it printed fine. After some research there was a problem with W11 and the Brother machine and/or software. I tried updating W11 but it didn’t help. IDK if a subsequent auto update caused a change but it just started working and has been working fine since. You might look into updating your W11 and see if it helps. I think there was a service pack update at the time.
