I have a friend that runs a local funeral home.  We were sitting in his office visiting and he got a call from the state about cremating someone at a local prison.  I asked him about that and he reached over and pulled open a drawer in a big wall cabinet.  It was filled with tiny boxes of ashes.  They had never been paid for or picked up by relatives.

A former employee worked at a pet crematoriam.  They had two different scoops hanging on a beam.  Big one for dogs, little one for a cat.  No one gets 100% of the correct ashes back.  Makes you wonder about humans.
