SW North Dakota | Dad used to be purebred gelbveigh bulls I switch to more angus influence to get them cleaned up. He had black and red so went all homo black to get same color calf crop then fine tuned from there. I ran lot of 3/4 to full blood angus for number of years now am starting to get up to 1/2 gelbveigh or even some simmetal again. The last thing I’ll use is a fleckveigh or a Hereford. Everyone thinks the F1 are top of the market but never tell when they have a red or baldy or feather neck come through the sale and they are $700 less than there pen mates. | |
