including the off farm revenue and uncle sugar money?

This may be my demise, but I think we have to start realizing and figuring in uncle sugar money (assuming you’re talking about govt payments). I was at a yearly meeting the last few years warning of poor prices ahead but talking about arc/plc floors and figuring them. I heard many say govt payments are icing on the cake. And for those very well healed and owning a lot of their land or have a large base of cheap rent it can be icing on the cake. But for those in competitive rent environments and trying to keep heads above water, I think we need to do a better job of understanding the floor these provide and also managing the cash flow until they do or do not pay later on. Thats a hard part of these ARC/PLC SCO/ECO programs/products, they pay so late it becomes hard for some to place them in the right years category. 2025 ARC/PLC will pay (if it does) around October of 2026 as many know. Same timeframe you have new crop 26 bushels delivering and paying you. I wouldn’t be surprised if I don’t see $100+ an acre in payments between the set Bridge payment, probably a 2.0 payment and then ARC/PLC. Now I’m not taking any of that to the bank accept Bridge 1.0, but I am trying to remember that when I’m getting down on myself for current economics.
