Ten years ago or so DG announced they planned to open a store in every town in ND that had 400 people or more.  Since Covid they certainly haven't opened any in our local and I doubt even half the towns over 400 have one.   Nearest one to us is 28 miles away in SD, nearest in ND is 42 miles east and 60 miles NW.   I wouldn't mind have one locally, town has around 600.
