Whitewater, WI | Went to school our whole lives and were in the same friends group. She went away to college. Calls me her first summer back and asked if I wanted to go to the racetrack because she was invited by a guy she had previously dated who raced and knew I like cars. We go to the race but while there I get a call that a couple friends of ours that were still in high school got in a car accident heading to Prom. We leave to go see them at the hospital. She never met up with him at the race and we started dating instead. We'll be married 19 years in July. | |
