| Have a heifer born late summer early fall can’t remember with out checking. She is a Holstein angus cross. She is off and running good on full feed probably close to 500#. Noticed today she looks like she has a hernia. She’s not worth much with it. Had local vet fix one on a Holstein heifer last spring and did a good job. Was 4-500$. This animal be worth close to if I get her finished. Hate to lose what I have in her feed and labor wise up to this point but we are talking another year till finished. Plus whatever the setback is from the repair. Hate to chase bad money with good money. Any thoughts? | |
