Driftless SW Wisconsin | For lice or mange, caused by insects and common this time of year, injectable ivomectrin works well. Pour on does not help.
I had some cows with bare spots on their rump a few years ago. Vet said likely caused by infected wildlife (coyotes, deer etc) bedding down in the same place as cows . Treated with injectible ivomectrin once. Haven't had a major problem since.
This is different than ringworm which is a fungus. But I think lots of clean dry bedding and sun helps. | |
