It might have cost me some money through the years, but I always disclose known defects when selling anything. I'm not a dealer or a jockey.
If I am upfront about things, the buyer can decide how they want to deal with an issue or possible repair. I would rather have a repeat customer than someone who trashes my name for hiding known issues.
Would you tell a buyer....
