Subject: RE: NAD83 and shifting guidance lines and boundaries

Near Intersection of I-35 & I-90 Southern Mn.
I read your post with interest since we have what I consider good Boundary files and AB Guidance lines that we use with our Ag Leader displays. The GPS source was/will be an Ag Leader GPS 7500 unlocked and subscribed to Terra Star Pro C. I am not using RTK nor working with a CORS system.

For all our fields we have a Boundary file and a set of AB lines that are the property lines. At times we use one of the AB property lines as a reference and shift a bit more than half our implement width toward the field for the first pass. Some fields also have some other AB lines that are used for other purposes.

I just got finished with rearranging our farm/field names and associating those AB lines with the new field names. I was hoping to continue to use the Boundary files and the former AB lines.

I would hate to have to redo all the Boundary files and AB lines although it sounds as if this might be necessary?
